How do I choose between J1772 and Tesla / NACS?
Choose the connector that matches your vehicle's charging inlet. BOKMAN offers portable EV chargers for both J1772 and Tesla / NACS vehicles.
How do I choose between 16A, 32A, and 40A?
The correct current depends on your vehicle, outlet, and electrical circuit. Make sure your charging setup can safely support the selected amperage. If you're unsure, use our Find Your Fit guide or contact BOKMAN support.
Which outlet do the portable chargers use?
BOKMAN 16A portable chargers use a NEMA 6-20 plug. The 32A and 40A models use a NEMA 14-50 plug.
Can I use the portable charger with a standard household outlet?
BOKMAN portable chargers include a NEMA 5-15 adapter. When charging through a Level 1 / NEMA 5-15 connection, the maximum charging current is 16A.
What cable lengths are available for BOKMAN portable EV chargers?
J1772 and Tesla / NACS portable EV chargers are available in 20 ft and 25 ft versions.
What lengths are available for the Tesla / NACS extension cable?
The BOKMAN Tesla / NACS charging extension cable is available in 21 ft, 25 ft, and 32 ft versions.
Can the Tesla / NACS extension cable be used with a Supercharger?
No. The BOKMAN Tesla / NACS charging extension cable is designed for Level 2 AC charging and is not compatible with DC Superchargers.
Can I use the extension cable with a Tesla Wall Connector or Mobile Connector?
The extension cable is intended to provide additional reach for compatible Level 2 AC NACS charging setups. Always confirm that your charger, vehicle, and charging environment are compatible before use.
